About

Pat Sutton in her Wildlife

Pat Sutton will lead a tour of the Avalon Pollinator Meadow to showcase keystone native perennials that are thriving on this barrier island and the pollinators they’ve attracted and benefit.  Don’t forget to bring your binoculars if you want to see the pollinators Pat spots and points out. Species in season include: Wild Bergamot, Rattlesnake Master, and Joe-pye-weed. Additionally, with the large patches of various milkweeds in the garden, summer Monarchs should be present and busy mating and laying their eggs to create additional generations.
