Lotus Flower Lantern Workshop
Make a lovely lotus flower lantern using colorful paper and wire frames with help from The Members of Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP). KSCPP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising awareness of Korean history and culture. A short documentary film on Korean artistic tradition will be shown to introduce the aesthetics of Korea and traditional Korean refreshments will be served. Registration is required by calling (609) 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk. Avalon property owners may register beginning December 31. All others may register beginning January 14.

You are welcome to bring any Mac-based device with you but please be aware this class will focus on the iPad.

Starring Ruth Negga, Joel Edgerton and Will Dalton, Loving is the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, whose challenge of their anti-miscegenation arrest for their marriage in Virginia led to a legal battle that would end at the US Supreme Court.
