Avalon Police closed the roadway leading to the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge on the Avalon side on Tuesday, March 14th, at 10:35am.  Waves were breaking on the roadway due to the storm and high tide conditions.  The road will be reopened when it is safe to do so.
